I also really want to do a graduation sampler for Sherrie. I made one for Chris and Annette when they graduated so I'd like to do one for her. I have the Stoney Creek one with the ivy all over it but I also thought I'd like to do one that has her school colors on it. I guess I'll have to peruse Hoffman's catalog and see if there is anything that I like and order it before I run out of time. Ideally I'd like to have it done by May but her actual diploma will have a December date on it. She wants to walk in May with all her friends but still will have her student teaching to do so won't actually graduate until December. So technically I have a year to stitch a graduation sampler for her.

Both are looking great!
love the progress. great minds think alike, i just started LK's Live Simply tonight. LOL It is hard to see on that chocolate fabric though. but it will be really cute when finished.
I have a design at home by Debbee's Designs (i think) that is a simpler graduation one and you use your school colors. I won't be home until next saturday though.
Your poppy design is beautiful, reminds me I have a poppy kit somewhere I have been going to do for my parents for about three years now..
Look forward to more up-dates.
Your poppy is beautiful - that is the California state flower, so we see that grow in the wild in the spring through the fall.
I love the fabric you are using for L*K Live Simply, for the colors of the thread really pop. I have never taken the opportunity to stitch on dark fabric before, but I imagine that it would be challenging! I look forward to visiting again and watching these "grow".
Take care.
